Head Design & Engineering
With close to 40 years of distinguished experience in Tool Engineering, he has been instrumental in the design and realization of critical tooling solutions for India’s premier space programs. He held complete responsibility for the design and execution of tooling systems for light alloy structures of PSLV, GSLV, and GSLV at Indian Space Research Organisation
He has pioneered several innovative tool design concepts and engineered advanced automated welding fixtures for fuel, oxidizer, liquid hydrogen, and liquid oxygen tanks used in launch vehicle programs — supporting critical processes such as TIG-DCSP and Friction Stir Welding.
